Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Carioni (ranked 512 p4p, 1496 weight class) and Cuervo Oquendo (ranked 22 p4p, 56 weight class). Rodrigo Carioni is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodrigo Carioni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cuervo Oquendo!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carioni throws a head kick but Oquendo moves out of range.
Carioni uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oquendo.
Oquendo misses with a looping left.
Oquendo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Oquendo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Carioni throws a hook but Oquendo avoids it easily.
Oquendo ducks under a wild hook from Carioni.
Carioni throws a shot from downtown. Oquendo moves away and avoids it.
Carioni looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Oquendo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oquendo throws a right hand that misses
and Carioni counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Oquendo moves forwards but Carioni connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Carioni looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oquendo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carioni walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oquendo scoring well with a low kick there.
Oquendo's corner calls for a 1-2. Oquendo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Rodrigo Carioni has been cut.
Carioni lands with a shot to the body.
Carioni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oquendo moves away.
Oquendo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Oquendo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Carioni moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Oquendo connects with a crisp jab.
Carioni throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carioni uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Carioni looks to land a left hand but Oquendo moved out of range nicely.
Oquendo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oquendo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Carioni throws a nice looking combination but Oquendo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Oquendo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Carioni cracks Oquendo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Carioni walks into a stiff left hand from Oquendo.
Oquendo throws a jab when Carioni was well out of range.
Carioni misses with a jab to the body
and Oquendo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carioni is rocked!
Oquendo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice uppercut lands for Carioni. That snapped Oquendo's head back.
Oquendo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A head kick misses from Carioni.
Carioni swings widly with a right hand
and Oquendo counters with a crisp one two that drops Carioni! Oquendo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Carioni to his feet! Carioni is in big trouble!
Oh Carioni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rodrigo Carioni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oquendo lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cuervo Oquendo!
In his post fight interview, Cuervo Oquendo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
