Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maksud Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Hemmingworth and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nolan clinches up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Magomedov.
A head punch on the inside from Magomedov fails to land.

Nolan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nolan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Magomedov throws out the jab.
Nolan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Magomedov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Magomedov working aggressively here.

Magomedov manages to break the clinch.
Magomedov throws a body punch but Nolan moves out of range.
Magomedov throws the left hand but Nolan avoids the punch easily.
Nolan slips a jab and a cross from Magomedov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov throws a big shot that misses.

Magomedov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nolan's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Magomedov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A big right from Magomedov misses.
Nolan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Magomedov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nolan scrambles back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Magomedov moves into the clinch successfully.
Magomedov swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Magomedov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nolan moves into range and clinches up with Magomedov.

Magomedov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nolan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Magomedov lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Magomedov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nolan backwards.
Magomedov lands a hook to the side of the head.
Magomedov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A short uppercut from Magomedov.

Magomedov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nolan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Magomedov throws a punch but it's blocked by Nolan.

Magomedov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Magomedov scores with a takedown into Nolan's guard.

Magomedov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Magomedov stands up from Nolan's guard - Magomedov perhaps looking for a knockout.
Nolan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Magomedov throws a jab but it's blocked by Nolan.
Magomedov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Magomedov tries to keep at a distance but Nolan has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nolan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nolan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Magomedov lands with an overhand left.
Magomedov looks to land a right hand but Nolan moved out of range.
Magomedov throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Nolan counter with a right hand.
Magomedov falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Nolan counter with a right hand.

Nolan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Magomedov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Magomedov throws a right hand that misses
and Nolan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Maksud Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nolan gets caught flat footed, as Magomedov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nolan is working an open guard so Magomedov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nolan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nolan ducks right into an uppercut from Magomedov.
Magomedov lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Nolan can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Magomedov and Nolan drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Magomedov.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maksud Magomedov!
An out of breath Maksud Magomedov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
