House kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HonestKey- Keep Fightin'. Max House had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House avoids the body shot from Popizicki.
Popizicki moves into range and connects with a jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Popizicki shoots in looking for a takedown but House manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Popizicki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Popizicki tries to pull guard but House holds him up against the cage and eventually Popizicki drops back down to his feet.
Max House has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chaz Popizicki.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Popizicki is on top in guard.

Popizicki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! House is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Popizicki, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
House looking to sit in guard and control but Popizicki gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Popizicki throws an elbow that misses. House uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Popizicki's guard. Nice move by House!

Popizicki is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but House frees his head nicely. Oh but Popizicki has switched to an armbar! House is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
