Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Coles (ranked 2372 p4p, 5834 weight class) and Hank Houston (ranked 281 p4p, 548 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houston throws a body shot but no joy.
Houston is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Houston slips a jab from Coles.
Coles with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Coles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Hank Houston has been cut.
Coles moves away from the strike by Houston.
Coles throws a hook to the side of Houston's head but Houston sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Houston throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Coles counter with a right hand.
Houston uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Coles.
Houston throws a sloppy body shot
and Coles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Houston is rocked!
Houston leaves his chin hanging out and Coles seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Houston crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
