The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Li Citra.
Li Citra fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diaz on the side of the head.
Li Citra lands with a straight right. Diaz didn't see that one coming.
Li Citra closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Li Citra works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Diaz misses with a looping left.
Li Citra ducks under a wild hook from Diaz.
Li Citra looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Diaz throws a big shot that misses.
Diaz misses with a looping right.
Li Citra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diaz throws out the jab.
Li Citra buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Li Citra is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Li Citra fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Diaz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Diaz looks to clinch but Li Citra throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Diaz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Luca Li Citra seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
