Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Flilaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Kalliosto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalliosto has chosen Apocalyptica - Path as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Floyd Flilaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anton Kalliosto! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalliosto misses with a few strikes there.
Anton Kalliosto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kalliosto throws and low kick but Flilaw moves out of range easily. Kalliosto misses with the combination.
Flilaw shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kalliosto as he avoids it easily. Kalliosto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Flilaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kalliosto's waist but Kalliosto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flilaw off to one side. Flilaw fails in his attempt to clinch. Flilaw has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Floyd Flilaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kalliosto throws a series of punches but Flilaw moves out of range. Kalliosto misses with a series of wild punches.
Kalliosto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kalliosto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Flilaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flilaw throws a head kick that misses. Kalliosto misses with a low kick. Kalliosto misses with the combination.
Flilaw has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalliosto is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kalliosto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Flilaw landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Kalliosto swings wildly with an uppercut but Flilaw uses good head movement to avoid it. Kalliosto has had enough of the clinch but Flilaw keeps him there for the moment. Flilaw keeps control of Kalliosto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kalliosto is trying to break the clinch but Flilaw has him pressed against the cage. Kalliosto tries to break the clinch but Flilaw is controlling the position. Kalliosto breaks from the clinch.
Kalliosto tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Flilaw counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kalliosto! Kalliosto bucks up and throws Flilaw to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Flilaw fails in his attempt to clinch. Kalliosto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kalliosto looks gassed! Flilaw sitting in guard here, content to control. Flilaw postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flilaw won't allow Kalliosto to get back to his feet. Kalliosto keeping moving, preventing Flilaw from controlling successfully. Kalliosto is working an open guard so Flilaw takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flilaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Flilaw lands a few punches from side control. Kalliosto wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Flilaw trying to control the position but Kalliosto is working away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kalliosto can do anything to dispel that myth. Flilaw is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kalliosto's shoulder. That is not cool. Kalliosto wants to get back to his feet but Flilaw drags him back down. Flilaw is working to tighten is grip on Kalliosto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kalliosto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Flilaw is really squeezing tight and eventually Kalliosto passes out! Flilaw breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
