The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carikuntz lands a jab to Howe's midsection.
Howe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Carikuntz lands a nice hook to Howe's body. Howe takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Carikuntz lands a big uppercut and Howe crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Howe looks OK. Carikuntz waves Howe back to his feet!
It looks like Fred Howe has been cut.
Howe glances at the clock... BAM! Carikuntz nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Howe crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Howe is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
