Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aang Chow Bhattarai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cody Greenhart!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenhart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bhattarai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bhattarai feints and as Greenhart raises his hands in defense, Bhattarai changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bhattarai works over Greenhart with some ground and pound from guard.
Greenhart controls Bhattarai momentarily but Bhattarai frees himself.
Greenhart wants to sweep here but Bhattarai controlling him for the moment.
Bhattarai is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Greenhart looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greenhart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bhattarai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
