Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Old Bravo (ranked 4373 p4p, 4366 weight class) and Spencer Strasmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Old Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spencer Strasmore!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strasmore gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bravo tries to circle away but Strasmore has him pinned against the cage.
Bravo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bravo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Strasmore has him pressed against the cage.
Strasmore leaning against his opponent.
Strasmore misses with a knee strike.
Bravo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Strasmore swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Strasmore wants to stall.
Strasmore misses with a hook to the ribs.
Strasmore is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bravo is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Strasmore looking to slow down the pace here.
Strasmore is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bravo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bravo is taking a breather. Strasmore says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bravo decides to return to a standing position.

Strasmore gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bravo to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Strasmore is retaining full guard.
Bravo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Strasmore is proving hard to escape from.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bravo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bravo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Spencer Strasmore dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bravo gets the takedown into side control.
Bravo just content to control the position.
Strasmore is trying to buck Bravo off.
Bravo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bravo prevents Strasmore from escaping the position.
Strasmore is breathing heavily.
Strasmore takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Bravo stands up.

Bravo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Strasmore sprawls well initially but Bravo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bravo lands a nice short elbow.
Bravo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bravo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Bravo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Strasmore for as long as he can get away with.

Bravo escapes and gets back to his feet.

Strasmore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bravo scoring with punches to the head and body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bravo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bravo wants to stand but Strasmore has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bravo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bravo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Old Bravo dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Bravo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bravo sitting in guard here, content to control.
Bravo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bravo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Strasmore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bravo pushing down on Strasmore's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Bravo working over Strasmore with some ground and pound. Strasmore looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Spencer Strasmore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bravo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

More hug and hope from Bravo.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Strasmore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Bravo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Strasmore's guard.
Strasmore wants to get back to his feet but Bravo passes into half guard.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Bravo.

Bravo is nestled in close to Strasmore, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

And that's the end of the fight!
Old Bravo showed his dominance in that final round.
