Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomahawk Chai (ranked 1130 p4p, 1173 weight class) and David Hanson (ranked 171 p4p, 174 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomahawk Chai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, David Hanson! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai swings widly with a right hand
and Hanson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hanson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hanson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hanson stands and throws Chai's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Hanson. Hanson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chai has escaped the position, nice work there. Hanson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chai rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hanson's guard! Nice work there by Chai! Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Hanson has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Hanson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hanson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chai slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hanson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chai passes into side control.
Hanson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chai's best efforts. Hanson tries to get to full guard but Chai has control of the leg. Hanson gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hanson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hanson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chai is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hanson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chai is looking to defend but Hanson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chai! Hanson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chai taps out and this one is all over!
