Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Ludacris-Move Bitch. Budawalski has chosen Terminator Theme as his entrance music. Marius Budawalski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budawalski slips a jab from Carter.

Budawalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Budawalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Budawalski drops Carter with a left right combo! Budawalski follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Jerome Carter has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carter wants to stand and escape but Budawalski is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Budawalski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Carter rushes Budawalski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Budawalski is trying to break the clinch but Carter has him pressed against the cage.

Carter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Carter turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Carter manages to end up in side control.
Carter stands up and we're back to a striking position.
