Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Guy.

It looks like Heavy Mann has been cut.
Guy lands a head kick. Mann smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Mann lands a nice shot that snaps Guy's head back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Mann counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mann listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mann lands a big uppercut and Guy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Guy looks OK. Mann waves Guy back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mann fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Guy.
Guy digs a good hook to Mann's body.

Mann throws a shot from downtown. Guy moves away and avoids it.

Mann looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Guy tries to land a front kick but Mann steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mann flicks out a counter leg kick but Guy steps away.
Guy throws a head kick that misses.
Mann feints a counter leg kick.
Guy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Mann throws out a counter right but Guy avoids it with no problem.

Heavy Guy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Guy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Mann swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Guy tries a low kick but Mann avoids it.

and Mann counters with a nice right hand that sends Guy toppling to the canvas! Guy scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mann finish him?!

Guy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Guy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Guy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mann was well out of range. Poor timing from Guy.

Heavy Mann seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Guy thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mann if he has to take too many more of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mann moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Guy might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Mann throws a lazy right hand but Guy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Guy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Guy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Jeez, Heavy Guy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Mann finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Guy throws a chopping leg kick but Mann manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Guy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Heavy Guy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
