Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BRAVE HEART (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Big Pun- Off Wit His Head blaring out of the sound system. Carlos Silva has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by HEART - just one landing.
HEART throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silva moves out of range of the body kick from HEART.
Horrible takedown by HEART or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
HEART throws a low kick, looking for Silva's leg but Silva calmly moves out of range.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down HEART's shoulder. That is not cool.
HEART is looking to reverse the position.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but HEART is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
HEART struggling a bit here.
HEART manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Silva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Silva is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

HEART is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

HEART is trying desperately to improve position.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

HEART keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as HEART is looking to escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Silva trying to control the action but HEART is working from the bottom.
HEART looking for submissions off his back.
HEART holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
HEART looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Silva pushes past his half guard into mount!
HEART tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Silva jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but HEART manages to avoid the submission attempt.
HEART tries to buck Silva off but Silva is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
HEART gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
HEART is wriggling around trying to escape.
Silva scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Silva dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by HEART.
Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling HEART to score with a decent uppercut.
Silva looks for a takedown but HEART sprawls well.
A left and a right from HEART both land. Nice combination.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
HEART cracks Silva with an open hand slap.
HEART keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and HEART counters with a good low kick that Silva was not able to check.

HEART fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silva on the side of the head.
HEART cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
HEART lands with a straight right. Silva didn't see that one coming.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Good standup being displayed there by HEART as he connects with a hook.
HEART bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Silva's head backwards.
HEART throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
HEART shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. HEART showed some decent athleticism there.
HEART is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.
Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by HEART.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
HEART wants to work for an arm triangle but Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

HEART is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Silva has managed to escape the submission attempt.
HEART is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling HEART's body position as best he can.
Silva tries to lock up and control but HEART gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Silva sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
HEART is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
HEART looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of HEART's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take HEART's back!
HEART is trying to break free.
Silva wants to control but HEART is keeping busy.
I really don't envy HEART right now.
Silva is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but HEART has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Will Silva go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

HEART defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Silva's arms.
Silva is hanging on to HEART's back as he tries to escape.

HEART breaks Silva's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
HEART is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

BRAVE HEART showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
HEART stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts HEART as he jumps to the side.
HEART throws a nice head kick!
HEART cracks the inside of Silva's front leg.
HEART looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
HEART lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
HEART shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. HEART is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take HEART's back instead.
HEART rolls, trying to escape but Silva keeps control of the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Silva controlling well, preventing HEART from escaping the position.
Silva patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
HEART tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Silva looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
HEART is looking to improve his position but Silva isn't that keen on the idea.
Silva wants to control but HEART has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

HEART is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Silva pulls his head out easily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
HEART lands a nice shot to the body.
Silva walks into a stiff left hand from HEART.
BRAVE HEART seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
HEART feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silva's calf.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
HEART has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
HEART looking for the RNC.
HEART is trying to stick to Silva's back but Silva is turning into HEART. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in HEART's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silva.

Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
HEART escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva wants to control from the top but HEART keeps moving.

HEART is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

HEART has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

HEART has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Carlos Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
HEART darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva is looking for a sweep. HEART is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

I think HEART has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
