Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean OToole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dilbert The D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). OToole comes into the arena with Ænema blaring out of the sound system. Dilbert The D will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OToole is looking to clinch but The D is avoiding it.
The D clinches up with OToole and pushes him back against the ropes. The D goes for a takedown attempt but OToole pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
OToole tries to clinch but fails miserably and The D counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in OToole's guard now. The D sitting in guard, not really doing much. OToole is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. OToole looking to control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The D sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed OToole's guard. The D content to control rather than advance. The D prevents OToole from improving his position. OToole on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if OToole tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. OToole is looking to control The D's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can OToole avoid being mounted? OToole wants to improve his position but The D is controlling well.

The D wants to take a breather but OToole is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. OToole keeping hold of The D's head, controlling as best he can. OToole might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. OToole trying to hold on to The D's head to control him but The D postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. OToole slaps away a takedown attempt from The D, before circling back to the center of the mat. OToole closes the distance looking to clinch and The D counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The D looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. OToole thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. OToole is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. OToole is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The D won't allow OToole to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. OToole is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sean OToole just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. OToole clinches up against the ropes. OToole connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Dilbert The D has been cut. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. OToole obliges. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OToole darts in trying to clinch and The D counters with a nice double leg into half guard. OToole trying to hold on to The D's head to control him but The D postures up.
OToole is pressing down on The D's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. OToole is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The D is breathing heavily. OToole is looking to sweep but instead, The D has passed into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. OToole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. OToole not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

OToole darts in trying to clinch and The D counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. OToole is trying to maintain the position but The D is very close to passing his half guard. OToole makes his way to full guard. A much better position for OToole. OToole tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Dilbert The D showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dilbert The D's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The D throws a sloppy head kick and OToole moves out of range easily. OToole tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. OToole is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sean OToole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. OToole tries to clinch but The D moves away and The D counters with a shoot takedown. OToole fights it but they end up in guard. Dilbert The D has got the better of the ground game so far. OToole wants to stand but The D is controlling the position. OToole tries to land a sweep but no joy. OToole throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
OToole pulls The D in to control the position. OToole not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The D takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. OToole seems keen to control The D's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. The D stopping the sweep attempt from OToole. OToole throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. OToole closes the distance and clinches. The D jumps guard and drags OToole to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. OToole is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. OToole trying to control the position from guard on top but The D is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The D can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as OToole controls the pace. OToole has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. OToole's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. OToole trying to control but The D is working from the bottom. OToole stays in close to The D's body and controls the position. The D avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. OToole slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Good agility. OToole manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The D manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. OToole stays in close to The D's body and controls the position. The D keeping moving, preventing OToole from controlling successfully. OToole not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The D is controlling OToole's posture. The D looking for a sweep. Not yet The D, not yet. Dilbert The D really dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dilbert The D's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
OToole closes the distance looking to clinch and The D counters with a takedown into side control. OToole tries to get back to half guard but can't. OToole trying to control but The D flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! The D has the hooks in. OToole is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The D is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. OToole trying to control the hands but The D won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The D doesn't have the hooks in and OToole manages to turn into his guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. OToole tries to clinch up but The D circles away and keeps his distance. OToole wants to clinch and The D decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in OToole's guard. The D is fighting to break OToole's control of his arms but OToole is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The D trying to control but OToole is working from the bottom. OToole wants to sweep but no luck. OToole seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. OToole has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OToole lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for The D! The D really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The D tries to hold on but OToole pushes him away. OToole sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. OToole with the ground and pound from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dilbert The D dominated that fourth round. The cut man is working on Dilbert The D's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
OToole moves into the clinch. OToole lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. OToole scores with a knee to the head.
The D takes a knee to the side of the body. The D takes an elbow to the forehead. The D takes an elbow to the forehead. Nice elbow from OToole. The D takes a knee right on the jaw!
That has opened up Dilbert The D's cut even more. OToole landing some nice looking knees to the body.

The D is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? OToole gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A knee to the head by OToole.
The D is rocked! OToole lands a nice elbow from the clinch. The D is still on wobbly legs! Can OToole finish him?
The cut above Dilbert The D's eye is starting to cause him problems now. OToole unloads a knee to the mid-section. The D seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. The D is looking to control OToole's arms but OToole gets an underhook and turns him. Now The D has his back to the ropes. OToole utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. OToole connects with a nasty looking knee right to The D's face.
The D takes an elbow to the temple. OToole lands a nice elbow.
Dilbert The D's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dilbert The D's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
