Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Kramer (ranked 1968 p4p, 3096 weight class) and Lasse Virinen (ranked 291 p4p, 400 weight class). Virinen has chosen Rumble as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lasse Virinen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Virinen.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Virinen, as that shot connected.
Kramer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Virinen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Virinen loads up on a big right hand but Kramer slips the punch.
Virinen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Virinen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Virinen connects with a solid leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Virinen as Kramer shoots in.
Virinen throws out a counter right but Kramer avoids it with no problem.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Virinen clobbers Kramer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A chopping leg kick lands by Virinen.
Virinen scores with a hook to the body. Kramer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kramer walks into a jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Virinen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kramer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kramer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kramer shoots in looking for a takedown but Virinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kramer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kramer backing away here, and Virinen unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Kramer half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Kramer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A clash of legs there as Kramer blocks the low kick.
Kramer changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Virinen lands with an overhand left.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kramer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Virinen to the mat! Virinen manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kramer stands and throws Virinen's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kramer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kramer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Virinen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Kramer has an Americana. Virinen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kramer is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kramer hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
