Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergey Telegin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimbo Wahwah!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wahwah lands with a shot to the body.
Telegin swats away the attempt to clinch by Wahwah.
Telegin avoids the head kick by Wahwah.
Telegin tries to counter with a takedown but Wahwah is quick to defend against it.
Telegin cracks Wahwah with an open hand slap.
Wahwah turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A jab from Wahwah misses.
A big right from Wahwah misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Telegin misses the target.
Wahwah throws a low kick but Telegin moves out of range easily.
Wahwah dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wahwah darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Sergey Telegin has been cut.
Wahwah lands a glancing blow to the side of Telegin's head.
Telegin slips under a jab from Wahwah.
Telegin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Telegin avoids a kick to the body.
Telegin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Wahwah throws a half hearted mid kick.
Telegin blocks a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Telegin there.
Telegin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wahwah.
Wahwah uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Telegin.

Telegin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wahwah sprawls well initially but Telegin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Telegin in particular looking to stall.
Telegin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wahwah wants to control but Telegin is keeping busy.
Telegin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wahwah wants to improve his position but Telegin is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Telegin is trying to work for a kimura but Wahwah is defending well.
Wahwah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Telegin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Telegin seems to be working for a kimura but Wahwah defends the submission attempt.

Telegin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Telegin keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Telegin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Telegin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Still in half guard, Telegin seems content to control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wahwah can do anything to dispel that myth.
Telegin is trying to control the action in half guard but Wahwah is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Telegin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wahwah defend it? Telegin steps over the head and cranks it - Wahwah is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Telegin!
