The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkins connects with a body shot.
Sasaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Atkins circles away.
Sasaki tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Atkins counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Atkins goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Atkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sasaki moves to clinch but Atkins breaks away
and Atkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Haise Sasaki has been cut.
Atkins lands with a straight right. Sasaki didn't see that one coming.
Sasaki throws a push kick but Atkins slaps the foot to one side.
Atkins looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sasaki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Atkins can pounce on him.
Atkins moves into the clinch successfully.
Sasaki lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Sasaki blocks an uppercut.
Atkins prevents a body shot from Sasaki .
A nice left hand lands by Sasaki .
That has opened up Adrian Atkins's cut even more.
Sasaki lands an elbow that stopped Atkins in his tracks for a moment.
Atkins is rocked!
Sasaki softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Atkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Sasaki finish him?
Sasaki creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Atkins with a big uppercut! Atkins tries to clinch up but Sasaki pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Atkins to the mat! Atkins covers up and Sasaki unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Haise Sasaki really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Brooklyn Apothecary logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
In defeat, Adrian Atkins stepped up to the mic, saying 'I get paid either way!'.
