Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Haiden Surz (ranked 3321 p4p, 5148 weight class) and TreShon White (ranked 387 p4p, 508 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haiden Surz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TreShon White! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Surz as he jumps to the side. White moves into the clinch. Surz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as White walks away with a smile on his face. Surz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. No luck for White with that takedown attempt. Surz looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. White closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White is trying to pull guard but Surz turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Haiden Surz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TreShon White. White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Surz lands a nice looking kick to the body. White takes a step back to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from White. Surz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away. Surz lands with a kick to the ribs.
Surz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Surz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Surz in particular looking to stall. White is staying active underneath Surz, who seems content to just control the action from this position. White wants to improve his position but Surz is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. White keeping hold of Surz's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Surz prevents White from standing back up.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. White shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Surz sprawls well. Surz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. White gets slowly back to his feet. Surz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Surz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Surz takes the fight into the clinch. White escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Surz is trying to push White away but White has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. White fails to pull the fight into his guard.

White takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Surz defends it nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Haiden Surz dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Surz is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Surz tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Surz to the ground. Surz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. White throws a wild body kick that Surz sees coming a mile off. Surz tries to clinch but White moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White swats away the attempt to clinch by Surz. White pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Surz back to the cage. White follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Surz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Surz defends well and White ends up having to push Surz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Surz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but White manages to circle out of the way. Surz misses with a wild body shot. White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Surz moves away. Surz thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on White if he has to take too many more of those.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Surz. That one must have hurt.

Surz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. White throws a body shot but no joy. White rushes Surz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. White leaning his opponent against the cage. White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. White tries to clinch up but Surz circles away and keeps his distance. Surz throws a counter high kick but White was just alert enough to avoid it. TreShon White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. White takes a head kick and keeps coming.
White misses with a low kick. Surz seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. White fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Surz, pushing him back against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Surz tries to pull guard but White won't allow it.
White has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Surz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. White dives in and grabs Surz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Surz pushes down on White's head and hops out. Surz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from White. Haiden Surz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Surz tries to clinch but White is having none of it. Surz doesn't manage to clinch there - White circles away.
Surz fails with the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Surz. No joy for White on that attempt. White shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Surz pinned against the cage. Surz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Haiden Surz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Surz connects with a high kick. Surz's Muay Thai looks sharper than normal. He has obviously been working on it in the gym. Surz lands a head kick!
White throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Surz wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. White throws a sloppy head kick and Surz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. White has his feet on Surz's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. TreShon White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Surz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of White's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Haiden Surz showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Surz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
