Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Devon Black (ranked 1437 p4p, 1286 weight class) and Jero Wolf (ranked 182 p4p, 166 weight class). Wolf has chosen Better Together as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Devon Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jero Wolf!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black moves out of range as Wolf strikes.
Wolf misses with a looping right.

and Wolf counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wolf misses with a hook. Black ducked under it nicely.
Black tries to counter with a takedown but Wolf is quick to defend against it.
Wolf lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Black misses with an uppercut. Wolf saw that one coming.
It seemed like Wolf was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Wolf counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Black shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wolf eats them both and turns towards Black to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

That was a close round but I would say that Devon Black will probably get the nod.

Wolf working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Black doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Black manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wolf refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Wolf's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
