Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christos Papadopolous (ranked 4007 p4p, 5062 weight class) and Vance Reyes (ranked 522 p4p, 597 weight class). Christos Papadopolous has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Christos Papadopolous! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vance Reyes! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes tries to clinch up. Papadopolous misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Papadopolous closes the distance and pushes Reyes back into the cage. Reyes is defending well against a takedown attempt. Papadopolous tries to pull guard but Reyes holds him up against the cage and eventually Papadopolous drops back down to his feet.

Papadopolous is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Papadopolous is working for takedown but Reyes is calmly controlling the position for now. Papadopolous manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Papadopolous has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Papadopolous is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Papadopolous is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Reyes defends it well. Papadopolous frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Papadopolous is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reyes is surviving well by controlling Papadopolous's body position as best he can. Papadopolous looking to control and managing it successfully. Papadopolous looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Christos Papadopolous dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Papadopolous dives in for a single leg takedown but Reyes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Papadopolous pulls guard effortlessly. Reyes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Papadopolous has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reyes has managed to get both his arms back between Papadopolous's legs - danger averted. Reyes is fighting to break Papadopolous's control of his arms but Papadopolous is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Papadopolous throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Reyes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Papadopolous seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Papadopolous thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Christos Papadopolous overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Papadopolous throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Papadopolous decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reyes to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Papadopolous lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Reyes wants to get back to his feet but Papadopolous is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Papadopolous passes Reyes's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Reyes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Papadopolous is controlling the pace.
Papadopolous seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reyes for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Christos Papadopolous showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Papadopolous, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
