Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paddy O Furnichur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hal Tavowsky! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Furnichur swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tavowsky changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. O Furnichur scores with a jab. Tavowsky acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tavowsky takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. O Furnichur connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. O Furnichur scores with the left hand. Tavowsky knows he should have avoided that one. Tavowsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
