The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Takahashi instigates a clinch. Takahashi prevents a takedown attempt there.
Takahashi has Bunyons pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Takahashi pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bunyons tumbling to the mat - Takahashi dives into Bunyons's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Takahashi content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takahashi is pressing down on Bunyons's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bunyons is holding on for now. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Takahashi in particular looking to stall. Takahashi in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura...
