Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deshun Harkless!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Carikuntz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carikuntz loads up on a big right hand but Harkless slips the punch.
Carikuntz cracks Harkless with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Harkless looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Carikuntz finish him?
It looks like Deshun Harkless has been cut.
Harkless tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carikuntz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harkless somewhat.
Harkless shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Harkless walks straight into a right hand from Carikuntz - that's dropped him! Carikuntz jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Harkless from any more punishment! Harkless complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
