The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rattinsson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lamos was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rattinsson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rattinsson fails with a takedown attempt.
Rattinsson checks the leg kick.
Rattinsson doesn't manage to clinch there - Lamos circles away.
Lamos throws a push kick but Rattinsson slaps the foot to one side.
Rattinsson works over Lamos's head and body with a nice combination.
Bonnabengt Rattinsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rattinsson slips a straight right by Lamos.
Rattinsson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rattinsson throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Lamos counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Lamos decides to return to a standing position.
Lamos throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rattinsson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lamos defends it well.
Lamos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rattinsson was well out of range. Poor timing from Lamos.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lamos connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Lamos misses with a looping right.

Lamos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rattinsson quickly recovers to half guard.
Lamos moves nicely into side control.
Rattinsson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Lamos has an Americana. Rattinsson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lamos is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lamos hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
