Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 4330 p4p, 3464 weight class) and Luis Crespo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Dux has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luis Crespo! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crespo throws a hook but Dux blocks it. Crespo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crespo misses with a looping right. Dux's corner calls for a 1-2. Dux obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The crowd cheers as Dux lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crespo doesn't seem phased though. Crespo misses with a shot to the body and Crespo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dux cracks Crespo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Crespo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dux finish him?
Crespo is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crespo throws a big shot that misses. Crespo is still on wobbly legs! Can Dux finish him? Dux throws out a loose jab but Crespo uses good head movement to avoid it. Crespo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dux misses with a hook. Dux moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromCrespo. Crespo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Crespo seems to have recovered his senses. Dux throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dux looks to land a left hand but Crespo moved out of range nicely. Sloppy strikes from Dux. Those never looked like landing. Crespo looks like he wants to counter punch here. Crespo just misses with a punch to the body.
Dux misses with a hook. Dux waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crespo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Crespo as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Frank Dux has been cut. The fighters circling - Dux throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dux ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dux catches Crespo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Dux getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Dux looks to land a left hand but Crespo moved out of range nicely. Dux throws a big shot that misses. Dux slips under a jab from Crespo. Dux scores with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Dux throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dux throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Crespo throws out a counter right but Dux avoids it with no problem. Dux scores with a crisp jab that stopped Crespo in his tracks. Dux ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crespo throws a head kick that misses and Crespo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dux cracks Crespo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Crespo falls to his knees and Dux doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Dux! An out of breath Frank Dux thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
