Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Marius (ranked 5839 p4p, 3056 weight class) and Ajax Jacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaius Marius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ajax Jacker! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacker has his takedown stuffed and Marius counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jacker drives through with a takedown into Marius's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Marius keeping moving, preventing Jacker from controlling successfully. Jacker tries to free his leg and advance position but Marius is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jacker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jacker slips nicely into half guard. Jacker is trying to control the action in half guard but Marius is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marius avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jacker. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jacker connects with a nice short shot to Marius's temple. Jacker working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Marius's thigh. Marius counters though and makes it back to full guard. Marius working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jacker. Jacker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Marius managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jacker cracks Marius with a solid left hand. Jacker with a nice head shot there. Jacker is looking to advance position but Marius has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jacker tries to hold on but Marius pushes him away. Jacker is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jacker is still trying to improve position. Marius controlling the position easily from mount. Marius continues to stall. Jacker working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacker tries to hold on but Marius postures up. Marius controlling from mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jacker is trying to escape the mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gaius Marius will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Nice sprawl there from Marius as Jacker shoots in. Jacker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marius sprawls well. Marius wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jacker gets slowly back to his feet. Marius is looking to counter punch. Marius buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacker fails with a takedown attempt. Marius half committed to a counter leg kick. Gaius Marius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ajax Jacker. Marius scores with the left hand. Jacker knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jacker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marius pinned against the cage. Marius gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jacker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marius sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Marius throws a poor cross that misses
and Jacker counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jacker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacker trying to control from Marius's half guard. Marius has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Jacker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marius swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jacker wants to control from the top but Marius keeps moving. Jacker throws a big right hand that misses. Jacker looking to pass the guard. Jacker stands up over Marius, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Marius keeping moving, preventing Jacker from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marius seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jacker wants to pass the guard but Marius is keeping the position. Jacker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jacker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marius is keeping the position for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gaius Marius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jacker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Marius throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Marius connects with a high kick. Jacker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. An attempted straight right counter from Marius misses the target. Jacker avoids the head kick by Marius.
Jacker closes the distance and clinches up with Marius, looking for a takedown. Jacker pushes Marius against the cage but Marius circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Marius wants to land a leg kick but Jacker is out of range. Jacker is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Marius scores with a spinning back kick! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jacker fails with the takedown and Marius counters with a big head kick but Jacker shrugs it off. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gaius Marius dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Jacker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Marius counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jacker is rocked! Marius cracks Jacker on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jacker falls backwards against the cage. Marius follows up with more strikes that drop Jacker to his knees. Marius keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jacker! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gaius Marius! Post fight, Gaius Marius stared into the camera and said 'I didn’t know if I’d get to make this speech again, this marks the dawn of a new era. Thank you to the greatest manager in combat sports!'.
