Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luc Devereux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles Hate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devereux's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bolt Thrower - At First Light. On his way into the cage it seems that Luc Devereux has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luc Devereux seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devereux fails to land the takedown.
Hate fails with the takedown
letting Devereux counter with a right hand.
Devereux bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hate misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Devereux trying to control the action but Hate is working from the bottom.
Hate is trying to control Devereux's posture but Devereux avoids it.
Devereux sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hate is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Hate tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Devereux passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hate!
Devereux blocks Hate's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Devereux prevents Hate from getting the reversal.
Hate is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hate throws a strike from the bottom but Devereux uses the opportunity to take his back.
Hate holding both Devereux 's hands and preventing any damage.
Hate looking very determined here, making life difficult for Devereux.

Hate staying busy and making it hard for Devereux to control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hate turns into Devereux and is now in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hate has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Devereux wants to sweep but no luck.

Hate drops back looking for a leg! Devereux is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Devereux manages to kick Hate off! Hate jumps back into Devereux's guard.

and Devereux counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hate is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Devereux counters by clinching up.
Luc Devereux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myles Hate.
Devereux is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hate pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hate is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Devereux goes for a takedown attempt but Hate pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Devereux counters with a takedown into side control.
Devereux tries to move to mount but Hate blocks the move with his legs.
Hate tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Devereux wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Devereux wants to control but Hate is keeping him busy.

Devereux is looking to take a break and control but Hate is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hate has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Devereux is working away from the top position though.
Hate wants to improve his position but Devereux is controlling well.

Hate is looking to control Devereux's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hate avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Devereux closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hate misses with a takedown attempt
and Devereux makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Devereux bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Devereux rushes Hate and presses him up against the cage.
Devereux is looking to control Hate's arms but Hate gets an underhook and turns him. Now Devereux has his back to the cage.
Devereux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hate darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hate is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Devereux doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hate.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luc Devereux dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Devereux shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hate but Hate pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Devereux moves into the clinch successfully.
Hate has Devereux pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Devereux manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hate drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Devereux lands with a left to the head.
Devereux has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hate clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hate manages to reverse the position and now he's in Devereux's guard. Nice work there by Hate.
Hate thows a big elbow that misses.
Hate with a flurry of punches that miss.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hate trying to control the position from guard on top but Devereux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Devereux has his feet on Hate's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Devereux tries to clinch but Hate is having none of it.

Hate is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Devereux gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hate wants to control from the top but Devereux keeps moving.
Hate throws a big right hand that misses.
Hate looking to sit in guard and control but Devereux gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hate has a closed guard, preventing Devereux from standing up.
Hate is pulling down on Devereux's head to control his posture.
Devereux wants to control from the top but Hate keeps moving.

Hate had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Devereux is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hate Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Devereux's back instead.
Devereux takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Devereux is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hate gets his way!

Hate is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Devereux is tapping out! This one is all over!
