This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 4 losses; Rogan Josh! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 3 losses; Luis Marrero! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Marrero clinches up with Josh and pushes him back against the cage. Marrero tries for a takedown. No joy.
Marrero is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Josh wants to take the fight to the mat but Marrero manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Josh prevents the takedown attempt.
Rogan Josh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Marrero. Josh is looking for a takedown. Marrero is defending well against a takedown attempt. Josh is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marrero is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Josh to the mat. Josh regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Josh (0) vs (2) Marrero Marrero wants to control from the top but Josh keeps moving. Josh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marrero is one step ahead there. Josh is looking for a triangle but Marrero pushes his legs off easily.
Josh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marrero defends well. Josh lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Josh (2) vs (2) Marrero Josh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Josh trying to control the position from guard on top but Marrero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marrero can do anything to dispel that myth. Josh stopping the sweep attempt from Marrero. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marrero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Josh defends it easily. Marrero wants to sweep here but Josh controlling him for the moment. Josh content to stall in guard here. Marrero controls Josh momentarily but Josh frees himself. Josh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Josh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Marrero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Score +3 for passing guard: Josh (5) vs (2) Marrero Marrero is looking to regain half guard here but Josh keeps moving and retains side control. Josh moves into full mount! Score +2 for reaching mount: Josh (7) vs (2) Marrero Marrero tries to hold on but Josh pushes him away. Josh wants to finish this one by submission but Marrero is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Josh. Marrero is trying to escape the mount.
Josh working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Marrero is working to get back to half guard.
Marrero keeps trying to improve his position. Josh sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Josh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Marrero manages to avoid the submission attempt. Josh is trying to get an arm triangle but Marrero is defending well. Josh is working to tighten his grip on Marrero's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Marrero has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Josh is really squeezing tight and eventually Marrero passes out! Josh breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A relieved looking Rogan Josh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
