Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz connects with a single shot there.
Niaz lands with a nice combination. Dick backs away looking to recover.
Niaz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Dick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Niaz bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dick manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Niaz on his heels. He'll look to pass Niaz's guard now, I'm sure.

Niaz looking for a guillotine here but Dick defends easily.

Dick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Niaz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dick pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Niaz is keeping the position for now.

Dick wants to control from the top but Niaz keeps moving.
Dick passes Niaz's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Dick is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Dick is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Niaz is trying to get back to full guard.
Dick passes to full mount!

Dick is working for a guillotine from mount but Niaz frees his head quite easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dick wants to control the pace but Niaz is squirming around nicely.

Dick is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Niaz lands a right hook to the body.
Nice body punch from Niaz.

Dick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Niaz's guard.
Niaz wants to get back to his feet but Dick passes into half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Dick uses his free foot to push down on Niaz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Niaz.
Niaz is trying desperately to improve position.
