Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Gary (ranked 4095 p4p, 4285 weight class) and Rohan Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gary fails with an attempt to clinch.

Montgomery fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gary sprawls well initially but Montgomery persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Montgomery stands up and beckons Gary to join him on the feet.
Montgomery throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Montgomery closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gary pushes Montgomery off but Montgomery dives into side control.
