And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, World Peace!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Francis DeMontford and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peace swings for the body but Shoenfeld moves out of range.
Shoenfeld feinted with a counter takedown.
Peace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shoenfeld moves away.
Peace swings away with a body shot that misses
and Shoenfeld counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Shoenfeld pushing down on Peace's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Shoenfeld trying to pass the guard but Peace defending well.
Shoenfeld works his foot free and advances to mount.
Shoenfeld trying to control but he's not successful this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shoenfeld in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Peace tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Shoenfeld!
