Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bukowski (ranked 1680 p4p, 1398 weight class) and Tom Dancer (ranked 214 p4p, 181 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tom Dancer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Bukowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Dancer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bukowski blocks a leg kick. A head kick from Dancer lands but Bukowski takes it in his stride. A swing and a miss from Dancer. Bukowski throws a body punch but Dancer moves out of range. Dancer throws a head kick that misses. Dancer tries a low kick but Bukowski avoids it. Bukowski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dancer throws out the jab. Bukowski misses with a looping left. The fighters circling - Dancer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bukowski changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Bukowski looks for a takedown. Dancer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bukowskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Bukowski ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Dancer misses the target. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dancer enables Bukowski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dancer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bukowski distracts Dancer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bukowski with a nice head shot there. Bukowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Dancer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dancer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bukowski postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tom Dancer will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
