The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrute tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shrute looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Shrute looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tyk!
Tyk struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyk is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Shrute off and has taken his back!
Tyk is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Shrute won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Tyk off his unconscious opponent!
