Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Walker (ranked 1387 p4p, 1894 weight class) and Rhashaun Kinkead (ranked 198 p4p, 263 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinkead is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Rhashaun Kinkead has been cut.
Walker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kinkead defending well as Walker loads up on a big left hand.
Walker throws a looping overhand right but Kinkead ducks down to avoid it.
Walker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kinkead drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Walker defends it well.
Kinkead staying out of range there.
Kinkead is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Walker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Walker thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kinkead feints the counter takedown.
Walker misses with an uppercut. Kinkead saw that one coming.

Walker missing with a left hand there. Kinkead was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And Kinkead tries to counter it with a takedown but Walker pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kinkead misses with a hook. Walker ducked under it nicely.
Walker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kinkead changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Walker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kinkead can pounce on him.

Oooh a lovely combination from Kinkead sends Walker down but not out. Kinkead dives into side control looking to finish.

Walker is rocked!

Kinkead is trying to get an arm triangle but Walker is defending well.
Oh Walker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walker is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kinkead has hold of Walker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Walker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kinkead cranks the arm and Walker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Walker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
