Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Langdon (ranked 4299 p4p, 4156 weight class) and Trey Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Teddy Langdon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trey Cannon! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langdon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Langdon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Langdon is trying to control the action in half guard but Cannon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Langdon passes to side control. Cannon stops Langdon from passing to mount. Langdon is working hard here to advance position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cannon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Langdon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cannon is looking to escape. Langdon working for a guillotine from mount but Cannon is in no mood to give up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langdon goes for an armbar but Cannon turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cannon. Langdon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cannon's guard. Langdon is stalling in the full guard. Langdon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cannon is keeping the position for now. Langdon prevents Cannon from getting back to his feet. Langdon looking to sit in guard and control but Cannon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cannon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Langdon has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cannon is looking to defend but Langdon has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cannon! Langdon pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cannon taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Teddy Langdon!
