And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ahmad Syaiful!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syaiful gets caught flat footed, as Schmidt shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Schmidt is standing up over Syaiful. Syaiful looks to escape but Schmidt dives into side control.
Schmidt is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Syaiful's shoulder. That is not cool.
Schmidt has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Syaiful is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Schmidt yanks on the arm and Syaiful is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Schmidt.
