Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jackson Thompson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bertrand Holderbaum!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thompson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Holderbaum moves into the clinch.
Holderbaum swings wildly with an uppercut but Thompson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Holderbaum misses with a short punch on the inside.
Thompson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thompson scores with the left hand. Holderbaum knows he should have avoided that one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Holderbaum seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thompson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Thompson scores with a one two! Holderbaum had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Holderbaum throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Thompson's head.

Holderbaum buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holderbaum.

Holderbaum slips a jab and a cross from Thompson.
Holderbaum appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Holderbaum lands with a hook. Thompson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Holderbaum plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Thompson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thompson gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Holderbaum gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bertrand Holderbaum!
A relieved looking Bertrand Holderbaum thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Jackson Thompson was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you for standing by me through thick and thin. Your unwavering support keeps me going. Keep believing in me, because I'm not done yet. The Bull will rise again.'.
