Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buakaw Banchamek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Hayes!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banchamek slips a jab from Hayes.
Hayes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Banchamek sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hayes misses with a wild body shot.
Banchamek has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Banchamek there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hayes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Banchamek.
It seemed like Hayes was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hayes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Banchamek was well out of range. Poor timing from Hayes.
A telegraphed right hand from Banchamek misses the target.
Banchamek swings for the body but Hayes moves out of range.
Banchamek slips under a jab.
Banchamek throws a lazy right hand but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Banchamek connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hayes's hands.
Hayes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banchamek.
Banchamek attempts a counter takedown but Hayes avoids it well and moves away.
Banchamek missing with a left hand there. Hayes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hayes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Banchamek.
Hayes throws a jab when Banchamek was well out of range.
Hayes connects with a looping right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Banchamek misses the jab.
Hayes jabs Banchamek right on the nose. Banchamek blinks but takes it well.
Banchamek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

As Hayes tries to get set, Banchamek tries to push him back and clinch up but Hayes manages to avoid the attempt.

A punch combination from Hayes misses.
Hayes thuds his right hand into Banchamek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hayes misses with a double jab.
Banchamek takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Banchamek walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Banchamek limp body while Hayes jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
