These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Beast Mode!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mode tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Edwy counters with a crisp one two that drops Mode! Edwy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mode to his feet! Mode is in big trouble!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mode!
It looks like Bartram Edwy has been cut.
Mode finds Edwy's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Edwy flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Mode lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Edwy will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Beast Mode!
