Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raja Khanna (ranked 1408 p4p, 2599 weight class) and Tommy Walcott (ranked 216 p4p, 360 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Raja Khanna! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Walcott! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walcott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Khanna at a distance.

and Khanna counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Khanna. Walcott blocking some punches.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Walcott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Walcott working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Khanna lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Walcott swings wildly with an uppercut but Khanna uses good head movement to avoid it. Khanna pushes Walcott back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Walcott misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Walcott got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khanna has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walcott has managed to get both his arms back between Khanna's legs - danger averted.

 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Walcott doesn't manage to clinch there - Khanna circles away.

Tommy Walcott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khanna swings away with a leg kick that misses. Khanna takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Sloppy strikes from Khanna. Those never looked like landing. Khanna with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Walcott to score with a decent uppercut.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Khanna tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walcott swats him away and circles back towards the center. Walcott appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khanna lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Khanna digs a right hand into Walcott's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Walcott's gas tank. Walcott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Walcott makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Khanna swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A close third round but Tommy Walcott just about did enough to take it. That's time! Khanna's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Khanna takes a swing at Walcott's ribcage but misses. Khanna swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It seemed like Walcott was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Khanna looks to land a right hand but Walcott moved out of range. Nice shot by Walcott. A lazy body kick from Khanna and Walcott counters with a leg kick. Tommy Walcott seems to be getting the better of the standup. A nice leg kick from Walcott, right into the meat of the thigh.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Raja Khanna will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Walcott throws a hook but Khanna avoids it easily. Walcott lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Walcott throws a leg kick but Khanna sees it coming and moves out of range. A lazy body kick from Walcott and Khanna counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Khanna is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walcott. Some wild striking there from Khanna.
Walcott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Khanna stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for Khanna. A big right from Walcott misses. Walcott throws a good cross that connects.
Khanna throws a sloppy head kick and Walcott counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Walcott cracks Khanna with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Khanna misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Khanna takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Walcott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Khanna misses with a left hand and Walcott counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that's the end of the fight! Tommy Walcott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Walcott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
