PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lyle (ranked 4714 p4p, 24942 weight class) and Camz Mil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyle comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Sniff The Coke. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Lyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Camz Mil!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lyle dives in and scores a takedown into Mil's guard.

Mil kicks Lyle off and gets to his feet.
Lyle could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lyle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mil did well to prevent Lyle getting side control.
Lyle passes the guard and advances to mount!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lyle tries to control but Mil wriggling away.

Lyle has control of Mil's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mil regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Lyle goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mil turns into him and now he's in Lyle's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lyle had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mil defends it easily.

Mil preventing the sweep.
Lyle keeping moving, preventing Mil from controlling successfully.

Lyle looking for a guillotine here but Mil defends easily.
Lyle pulls Mil in to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mil trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mil passes Lyle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lyle desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Lyle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lyle has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lyle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lyle tries to get out of the position.

Mil sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lyle defending well though.
Lyle makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lyle.

Lyle has an active guard here but Mil has managed to pass into half guard.
Lyle is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mil jumps into side control!
Lyle is trying to improve his position.
Lyle holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Lyle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mil wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lyle manages to get back to half guard.
Lyle has his hands clasped together around Mil's back. He's all about the action.
Lyle moves into full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lyle looking for a triangle here. Mil is fighting it but it looks tight! Lyle pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mil is tapping out - this one is all over!
