Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Mode (ranked 4666 p4p, 5816 weight class) and Deshun Harkless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The key to victory for Beast Mode has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harkless tries a head kick but it misses.

and Mode decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Harkless's guard.
Mode has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mode is trying to hold Harkless in close to prevent damage but Harkless has managed to pass into half guard.
Mode wants to get back to full guard but Harkless has passed into side control.
Harkless gets to mount! Mode was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Harkless is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mode can't escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Harkless cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Harkless lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
BOOM! Harkless connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Harkless tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Mode tries to improve his position but Harkless has taken his back! Harkless has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Mode tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Harkless pushes Mode away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
