Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Webb (ranked 2423 p4p, 3760 weight class) and Edwin Valero (ranked 170 p4p, 248 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamie Webb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Edwin Valero! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valero closes the distance and clinches up with Webb, looking for a takedown. Valero pushes Webb against the cage but Webb circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Valero tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Webb defends well and Valero ends up having to push Webb into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Valero shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jamie Webb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edwin Valero. A chopping leg kick lands by Webb. Webb lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Webb throws a low kick but Valero avoids it. Valero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Webb but Webb pushes him off and we're back to square one. A decent looking cross lands there for Webb. Valero misses with a takedown attempt and Webb counters with a straight right hand. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Valero is defended easily by Webb. Webb connects with a good right hand that stumbles Valero. Valero circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Valero closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Valero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Valero tries to move to mount but Webb blocks the move with his legs. Webb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valero on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valero has knee on belly and moves into mount. Webb tries to buck Valero off but he can't manage it. Valero wants to take Webb's back but he can't do it this time. Webb has given up his back.
Webb is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Webb wants to get back to his feet. Webb looking very determined here, making life difficult for Valero.

Valero controls the action. Valero is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Webb is defending well though. Valero let's go of the attempt for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valero struggling to keep hold of the position.
Valero trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Webb doesn't escape. Valero has managed to slip his arm under Webb's chin. This could be all over... yep, Webb is tapping out! Submission win for Valero.
