This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 73 wins and 37 losses; Moldy Jello! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 23 losses; Anthony Lavicci!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lavicci shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jello as he avoids it easily.
Lavicci shoots in looking for a takedown but Jello manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lavicci's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lavicci changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jello tries to avoid it but Lavicci manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jello to the ground. Jello escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moldy Jello has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Lavicci.
Lavicci tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jello defends well and Lavicci ends up having to push Jello into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lavicci dives in for a single leg takedown but Jello sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.

Jello has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
