This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 27 wins and 15 losses; Vasiliy Kulik! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 14 losses; Gaston Juncker!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kulik drives through and clinches with Juncker against the ropes.
Kulik jumps into guard, dragging Juncker to the mat.

Kulik pulls Juncker in close to prevent any damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Juncker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kulik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kulik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kulik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juncker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Let's hope that Juncker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
