Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 3448 p4p, 3083 weight class) and Jake Smith (ranked 151 p4p, 133 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Case! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Smith! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Winston Howard and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith keeps Case at a distance using the push kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Smith. Case buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing. Case throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it. Smith ducks right into an uppercut from Case. Case has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight. Smith lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Smith misses the jab. Case tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Case misses with a left hand and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Case on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Case connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Case on the wrong end of a nice hook. Case moves out of range of the body kick. Case lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Case bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Case changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circling - Case throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Case misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Case drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jake Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Case thumps Smith with a low kick. Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A shot to the liver by Smith. Beautiful body shot. A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target. Smith misses with a hook
and Case cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smith is rocked! Nice body punch from Case. Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Case finish him? Smith looks winded! Smith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Case lands a brutal uppercut that launches Smith off his feet! Smith tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
