The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Stroheim misses with a looping left.
Osipov tries to clinch up but Von Stroheim circles away and keeps his distance.

I was talking to Osipov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Von Stroheim's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Von Stroheim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Dmitry Osipov has been cut.
Von Stroheim lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Osipov out cold! Osipov is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
