Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shang Chi (ranked 3075 p4p, 3138 weight class) and Alistair Fallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chi blocks the body kick.
Chi misses with a head kick.
Chi swings for the body but Fallas moves out of range.
Chi throws a sloppy head kick and Fallas moves out of range easily.

Fallas is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

and Fallas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Fallas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
