Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5833 p4p, 23239 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 82 - 23 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 89 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter A sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Fighter B looking to score a takedown here. Fighter A is defending well but Fighter B drives through and ends up in Fighter A's guard. Fighter B postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter B accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fighter B throws an elbow that misses. Fighter A uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter B's guard. Nice move by Fighter A!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter B or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter A, which made it look bad. Fighter B manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter A on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter A's guard now, I'm sure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Fighter B throwing strikes from guard but Fighter A blocks nicely. Fighter B postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter B accidentally thumps the mat. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B stopping the sweep attempt from Fighter A. Fighter B throwing strikes from guard but Fighter A blocks nicely.

Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fighter B was covering up waiting for the punch and Fighter A finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter A fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter B sprawls well initially but Fighter A persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Fighter B tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter A swivels and escapes. Fighter B misses with a takedown and Fighter A counters with a body kick. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.

Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter A has a takedown stuffed. Fighter B now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Fighter B shoots in for a double leg but Fighter A sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fighter B shoots in and bounces Fighter A off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fighter B is controlling him. Fighter A is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighter B is aware though and is defending well. Fighter A seems keen to control Fighter B's posture. Fighter B missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter A as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick. Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fighter A manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter B on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter B's guard now, I'm sure. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
