Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Schmidt (ranked 2767 p4p, 4226 weight class) and Francisco Hancock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xavier Schmidt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Francisco Hancock!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ron Honeybunn and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hancock has managed to clinch.
Hancock is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Schmidt tries for a takedown but Hancock manages to get underhooks.
Hancock is struggling to control the position.
Hancock breaks the clinch.
Hancock stuffs the takedown attempt from Schmidt. Schmidt gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xavier Schmidt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hancock throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schmidt was covering up waiting for the punch and Hancock finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Schmidt has his foot on Hancock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hancock works his way back into a safe position though.
Hancock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schmidt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hancock has managed to get both his arms back between Schmidt's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hancock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hancock looking to improve position, pressing down on Schmidt's thigh with his hand. Schmidt seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Hancock paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Hancock's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Schmidt picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
